Servers global error

Hi all,

I've successfully installed Subversion on os X (tiger) and am
attempting to checkout a repository but am getting the following error:

15743366:~/Development/xxx dylan$ svn checkout svn://
donkey.netmaxim.com/vudata/dia
subversion/libsvn_subr/config_file.c:467: (apr_err=200002)
svn: /Users/dylan/.subversion/servers:2: Option expected

my servers file contains only some info to get subversion through my
local squid proxy:

[ globals ]
http-proxy-host = localhost
http-proxy-port = 7070

thanks for any ideas...
