File under source control Win2K/XP

Hi

I am trying to implement a doc management system using SVN within widows shell a DLL written in VC++ V6.

What I need to know is how can I find out if the current directory is a svn dir and also if the current selected file is under src control. ?

What I am trying to do is add a menu to the explorer menu called DMS when the user has just changed into a "SVN DMS" directory, if the user selects a file I then what to change the options under the DMS menu depending whether the file is under src control etc..

hope that makes sense ?

Thanks so much for any suggestions.

Matt
