Sure, but you should know that you're currently treading on 'not
officially supported' ground. It just *happens* to work most of the
time (when adds aren't involved) because we goofed and didn't force
repository UUID comparison checks.

On the other hand, I definitely hear what you're saying: we're so
close, why not go the last 10% so it will always work? And the answer
is: we'd like to *design* inter-repository merging, rather than
officially support a fetaure that just happens to mostly exist by
accident. So the official word is: unsupported feature, wait for real
merge-tracknig.
