I struggle to see how this is a 'problem' - if you are capable of clicking
past an overzealous "warning" dialogue box there is no problem.

I have been using 'vanilla' svn (uses .svn admin directories) in combination
with asp.net web-projects for near on 6 months and haven’t had any problems
whatsoever.

Its just visual studio going paranoid!
