Not really. In the link you sent, if you have a quick look at it, you
will see that the only binaries compiled for SLES are for ia64 and
ppc. SLES9 was quite close to SuSE 9.0 but not exactly in many
packages so anyone who wants to use the rpms in SuSE's FTP
site/mirrors might get confused, especially when there is a link from
Subversion web site to the mirrors.

It doesn't matter for me because I compile my own

People like Oracle have an interesting concept of "supported" systems.
When they see a specific version of a package upgraded w/o any
apparent reason, they have the right to say "not supported" which
makes some managers somewhat nervous.
