HTTP Redirects and the svn client

From: Pete Kazmier <pete-temp-20050424_at_kazmier.com>

Is the svn client supposed to follow HTTP redirects? Here is the
error message that I'm seeing:

kaz_at_mayo:/tmp$ svn co http://svn.codehaus.org/test test
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/test'
svn: PROPFIND of '/test': 302 Found (http://svn.codehaus.org)

Using a regular web browser, I am able to access my repo via the above
link without any problems so for the moment I've ruled out problems
with my Apache config.

My svn client version is 1.1.4 and Apache is 1.3.33.

Thanks,
Pete

ps I searched the past archives but the archive software appears to be
very buggy at the moment and I am unable to find the response to a
similar question that was posted in Mar of 2004.
