RE: Installing Solaris 1.1.3 on Solaris 8.5 and having issues wit h users Auth

Achim,
I am afraid not. As it was critical to have this in place we switch to a
windows box for an Interim solution. However in my research it would appear
there might have been a missing xxx.so that we did not load-- as this was
the cause of many problems during the installation.

We will revisit this problem in a few weeks if something develops on my end
I'll share the solution. If you do find the missing files or what ever the
problems is please do the same.

Good luck,

Cheers,
-Corey T. Gorman

Hi Corey, hi all,

you reported problems with the authentification using svnserve on Solaris:

If have the same problem too: svnserve 1.1.4 on Solaris (don't know the
exact version
of that). I set up the password file and tried to commit with the svn client
(without
ssh) from a Suse Linux 9.2. svnserve didn't authenticate me and prompts me
for
another username and password. After two more tries, I finally get:

"Authentication error from server: Internal server error in authentication".

Did you received any hints on that?

Regards,
  Achim Mahnke
