Frequence repository wedges

SVN Users:

I'm curious how many fellow users experience DB wedges on a regular basis?

We host our Subversion repositories on Windows 2000, using the Berkeley
DB provided with Subversion. We have about 5 repositories and 1 to 4
developers per repository. At least once a day one of the repositories
wedge. I like Subversion and wish to continue using it, but this is
ridiculous.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Will switching to FSFS help?

By the way, we are using TortoiseSVN and the error it reports is
something like "...connection forcibly closed by remote host..". Any
further access to the repository causes the client to hang.

Thanks,
Jason
