using revert; trying to recover from problems...

Hello,

Something went awry in my working dir ('workOne'); I can't commit,
'svn cleanup' doesn't help.
I created a new dir ('workTwo'), and ran 'svn co' to populate it.
I have copied all my work-in-progress from workOne to workTwo, then
commited workTwo.
Will 'svn revert', run in workOne, bring in all the changes from the
repository? Do I need to 'svn revert' then 'svn up'?

Thanks for any advice...
