SVN dBD severe error

From: Luiz-Otavio Zorzella <zorzella_at_zorzella.com>

Hi,

after using SVN successfully for quite some time over ssh, I decided to
configure DAV so I could have a granular access control for other
people. After a couple test checkouts with DAV, and a test of restricted
checkin, the system completely broke. Now, I can't even run verify
locally on my server (see below). Any help?

SVN 1.1.3 server on a Debian Sarge box.

*******************
# svnadmin verify /home/svn
svn: Berkeley DB error while opening environment for filesystem
/home/svn/db:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
svn: bdb: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery
********************

TIA,

Zorzella
