I do have Apache 2.0.53 + SVN 1.1.4 + PHP5 + MOd_PHP + Mod_Auth-Kerb-5.0
working fine on Gentoo. Except we only use FSFS backend, and Markus seems to
be using BDB.

As regards Gentoo problems with Apache, its more gotta do with layout
changes. I did have hell of a time with Mod_Auth_PAM and SVN on Gentoo, but
that seems more like Mod_Auth_PAM issue.
