I think people sometimes forget the low level of signal/noise in
interpersonal communications in internet, so this lead to you sounding a
bit ungrateful, when indeed this said face-to-face is a friendly talk,
and other people overreacting to it.

Anyway, I recently was pointed the existence of http://autopackage.org/
(just for linux distros). I've just tested the GAIM autopackage, and
seems a nice effort. Maybe a new voluntary could appear for this? ;)
