What process/tools do SVN dev team use 2 make Book?

Hello,

What process/tools does the SVN (content?) development team use to create
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/ ?

I have been told in the past that the core content database resides in
Docbook (or Docbook Lite?).

I'm curious as to what kind of (collaboration) process is used to get all
that content in there and manage said content over time.

Possibly a Wiki-like process to continually update the DocBook content?

I know little Docbook but have been attracted to the concept for some time;
I am starting to use Wikis more and more. I would very much like TWiki to
be Docbook-capable, but I'm (begrudgingly) told by at least one TWiki
advocate that MoinMoin is probably a better DocBook-Wiki integrating tool.

But I'm not presuming how Subversion doc content developers create their
stuff. I"m just interested in learning more about how they do it, because
the content and it's organization and presentation seems to be so good.
