I've installed svn from Fink onto my G5 Dual 2.0GHz (running OS X
Server 10.3.8) and successfully created my Subversion Repository
(including svnusers Group and creating & initializing the Root
Directory). There was one glitch, in Terminal (tcsh shell) I get "tsch:
memberd: Command not found." when I attempt to follow Apple's steps to
creating the svnusers Group (Apple documentation says to run 'memberd
-r' after 'lookupd -flushcache'). However, the Group, members and Group
ID now exist according to the WorkGroup Manager on OS X Server.
This is less problematic for me than what happens next. When I attempt
to import a project into the Subversion Repository I just created, I
receive the "Notice of Death"--'tcsh: svn: Command not found.'
Interestingly enough, updating and installing svn again results in this
Terminal activity:
% sudo apt-get update

Sorry, svn is already the newest version.
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 14 not
upgraded.
I didn't have this much of a problem setting up CVS on this box. Any
help would be greatly appreciated as I'm at my wits end on this.
Thanks in advance,
Marc
