I'm not convinced this is a Subversion problem. But, if you take a look
at HACKING (http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/HACKING), there are
some pointers on how to debug the server. I'd recommend starting there
and getting a backtrace. Then you may be able to pick out which module
is causing the problem.
