What's wrong with Subversion?

I don't mean to incite a riot or anything, I LOVE Subversion...
I'm just wondering if anyone KNOWS why Linus Torvalds doesn't love it
for linux kernel tree code?
In case anyone hasn't heard, BitMover (the creators of BitKeeper), are
moving to non-free (as in beer) licensing...
