RE: Linking svn 1.1.3 on IA64 with HPUX

I configured with --disable-shared and it worked, so I am able to use
svn now.

Has anybody tried to build SVN 1.1.3 on an IA64 system running HP/UX ?

The system is running HPUX 11.23 (11i v2)

I have installed same version on a HP/UX system running 11.0 and didn't
have any problems.

On the IA64 server I got the following error during the make

libtool: link: warning: this platform does not like uninstalled shared
libraries
libtool: link: `svn' will be relinked during installation

ld: Can't find dependent library "libaprutil-0.sl.9"

Fatal error.

*** Error exit code 1

I then did make install and got :

Do I need to run configure or make with special options to make this
work ? So far I have just been doing :

# .\configure
# make
