Just as an off-topic side note, I wonder why Google's AdSense believes
that someone looking at that post (explaining BASE/COMMITTED/HEAD)
would be interested in information on suicide.

I know that Subversion's subtleties can sometimes be frustrating,
but I didn't realise it was that bad!
