Dynamic Content directly from Repository?

Hello everybody,

I was wondering whether it is possible to have Apache serve dynamic
content (Perl, PHP) directly from a subversion repository.

When searching the list archives, I came accross

  http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2002-09/0115.shtml

but I didn't find any statement like "yes, it works". Only that it
should be working.

So I'd be interested what the situation is 2 years later. ;-)
