Understanding SVNAutoversioning and DavGenericLockDB

Dear all,

We are using version 1.1.2 on Fedora Core 3 with Apache 2.0.52, and I have
a few questions:

1. SVNAutoversioning

a. With this set to On, am I to understand, that when files are edited via
a webdisk/webfolder, they are automatically up rev'd, i.e. a svn ci -m "",
is needed?

b. Does a save equal a svn commit, and hence one would not need to use the
svn client?

c. Is the post-commit honoured?

d. How does this play with say OpenOffice/Editors that auto-save?

2. DavGenericLockDB

a. Which this enabled, a file that is being edited is locked, and someone
else can't perform a svn ci on the same file etc., like normal?

Are any of these features available with the normal, non-svn dav modules

Thanks,

Gavin.

P.S. I have search the archives, but couldn't find these answers.
