svn errors

So I haven't moved to fsfs filesystem on os X yet, and got this error
today when doing an svn up

svn: Berkeley DB error while opening environment for filesystem
/svnrep/webdocs/db:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery

Attempting to run svnadmin recover gave the following response

Please wait; recovering the repository may take some time...
svn: Error opening db lockfile
svn: Can't get exclusive lock on file
'/Volumes/G5/svnrep/webdocs/locks/db.lock': Operation not supported

Is the repository hosed? I have my local working copies, I'm the only
one using the repository, and I'm new at keeping my work in svn, so now
what?
