fatal error on svnadmin recover (was "RE: Log files are not deleted")

Hi,

Beneath the many log files mentioned below there were also many (approx. 40) processes running svnserve. I assured that nobody uses the repository and killed them to shut down the Subversion server and then run svnadmin recover. After many minutes svnadmin recover returned with a fatal error - I should run db_recover.

Any ideas what can help here? I am not sure whether I should run db_recover. The book says I should ask here.

Many thanks,
Klaus
