Yep. There are a number of files. All the time stamps indicate that they
did not come from my build. What should I do?

I think Fedora Core 3 does include Subversion, actually. Look for
libsvn* in /usr/lib, and anywhere else you can think of, see if you have
some svn libs besides the ones you installed yourself.
