Just to confirm this, I built 1.1.3 on a Linux box
which did not have BerkeleyDB on it. The configure
script stated this, but it was able to continue. I've
been running quite happily with a fsfs repository.
So, at least with 1.1.3, it will default to file-only
if it can't find Berkeley.
