Unset automatic properties

From: Gary Thomas <gary_at_mlbassoc.com>

I have some files that has some properties that were set automatically
when I created my repository (via cvs2svn). In particular, there are
some files with svn:keywords set that I'd rather not have. Similarly
for some files which are actually binary but have the svn:eol-style
property set.

How can I back these out safely?

n.b. I looked for the answer in the book, FAQ and archives in that
order with no success.
