I have been using svn on Fedora Core 3 for a while now with no problems. Howerver, when I try to commit changes from a Solaris 9 box, I get this error:

svn: system('svn svn-commit.tmp') returned 53248

I don't get this error if I use the '-m' flag for commit, and I get the message no matter what user I am (root or regular user). Obviously svn is having a problem w/ vi. On Linux, I'm using VIM 6.1.320. On Solaris 9, I'm using VIM 5.6.12.

I can upgrade vi on Solaris to 6.3, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or can offer any insight.

Thanks,
-Lee
