I don`t think that I meant to be rude. The thing you had no problems
with berkeleydb doesn`t neccesarily mean that there aren`t. I have used
it with mysql and I can`t recommend it.

With searching over internet or this list you will find many posts of
berkeleydb crashes. Or you can check this table:
