Problems during commit

From: Stefan Schilling <mail.suse_at_gmx.de>

Hello!

I´m running subversion since a few days and today I received the
following error:

svn: Übertragen fehlgeschlagen (Details folgen):

--Translation: svn: Transmissing failed (Details follow):

svn: MKCOL von '/svn/backupKitzelmann/!svn/wrk/61320022-9eee-0310-98d8-e450f88e0ab5/trunk/Desktop': 405 Method Not Allowed (h
ttp://ADDRESS)

What have I done?

We have a checkout - directory, where all the data from the svn are
stored (and keep stored after the commit).
Now, I let the machine run
- "svn update" to make sure, that the directory is up-to-date.
- I copy all files into this directory (in fact, only new files will
be added to the directory and new files will be updated)
- chown -R to the user of the checkout - dir.
- "svn add" to update the local svn-copy
- "svn commit"
and -after everything else has been done-:
- "svn cleanup"

There is no proxy and the svn is running on the same machine where all
these commands are issued.

Can you help? Do you need any other information? Just tell me -I´ll
deliver.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

cu,
Stefan
