Will you guys quit whining about this? WIN98 IS NOT A SUPPORTED SERVER
PLATFORM FOR SUBVERSION. I understand that you don't like this, but it
doesn't change reality. Non-NT based Windows versions simply do not
support the necessary operations. Complaining about lack of support on
Win98 is like complaining about lack of support on DOS 3.3. Yes, it
might be possible to implement those missing operations, but so far, no
one has been sufficiently interested, because it's simply a lot easier
to move to a supported platform.

And Matthew: please stop breaking threads.

(To state the obvious: I'm not a Subversion developer, and this strictly
my own opinion.)
