javahl in debian testing/sid anyone?

Hi!

I'm at my wits end with this. I'm using a intel-686 debian sid box, running
subversion-1.1.3. I need the javahl bindings. As they are not provided as
packages by debian, I went about compiling/installing myself. But whatever I
do, I get error messages like:

Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/local/lib/libsvnjavahl-1.so.0.0.0: /usr/local/lib/libsvnjavahl-1.so.0.0.0:

...what the...
Compile goes smoothly, ldd shows no missing libs, but... see above.

Did anyone venture there successfully? Can anyone help? I'm desperate to get
that running!

TIA,
 Jörg
