commit failed with working copy not locked

Hello,

I just set up a subversion repository, checked it out, did some changes (my
first try) and now the commit fails. No matter whether as root or as ordinary
user.
May be it fails, cause I moved the 'root' of the local copy to another
location (with mv, not with svn move).

I did a lot of changes, so is there a way to get a successful commit or do I
have to repeat all changes on a new checkout-copy?

I found the problem in the mailing list archive of 2003, but I found no hint
on how to resolve the problem.

Thanks for your advices!

kind regards

Geronimo
