svn 1.1 doesn't support http LOCK/UNLOCK requests. Because of that,
OSX refuses to mount an autoversioning svn repository.
However, this isn't true in the forthcoming svn 1.2. Using svn 1.2, my
OSX box mounts an autoversioning svn repository just fine, and all my
Mac apps can read/write the volume without a problem.
So it may be worth waiting for svn 1.2...
