Wildcard file merge

I am trying to figure out if its possible to do a branch merge with a
wildcard. Specifically, I want to merge branch/*.vbproj to
trunk/*.vbproj. From reading the manual, it seems like I can manually go
through and copy files one at a time, or do a directory merge and then
revert the changes I don't want. Am I missing something here?
