Cannot import or add javadocs 'serialized-form.html' has inconsistent newlines

When I try and set up an SVN project
I get the following error and SVN stops importing.
Since serialized-form.html is a Java generated file I don't have much
control over it and there are many many other instances of this type
of newline inconsistenty
What can I do to get these files into the repository?

C:\ForwardJava>%svn%\bin\svn import
ava/trunk -m "initial code import"
Adding .project
Adding JavaApiDocs
Adding JavaApiDocs\MultiWorkspaces.html
Adding JavaApiDocs\index.html
Adding JavaApiDocs\javadocs
Adding JavaApiDocs\javadocs\serialized-form.html
svn: File 'JavaApiDocs/javadocs/serialized-form.html' has inconsistent
