A little thinking out loud --

If you were using apache, it would be fairly easy to design a web page
that would list and link all the repositories being served by an
instance of svn, just as you should be able to serve a (perhaps separate)
webdav url that would expose your top directory.

When I think carefully about this, it seems fairly obvious to me that
there are security issues in this. But I'm thinking httpd.conf could be
used to (carefully) design a url/webpage/webdav share that implements
whatever security policy has been agreed to.

How far out in left field am I here?
