looking for references on the evil that is VSS

  i have the opportunity to migrate a local project from CVS to SVN,
but Visual SourceSafe is also used a lot here internally and i'm sure
i'll have to defend my decision to want to use SVN rather than VSS.

  so i'm interested in links/references on the nastiness that is VSS.
ideally, absolute horror stories from developers about how VSS
destroyed their data, rendered them sterile, then broke into their
homes and made sweet, sweet love to their wives.

  that sort of thing. the more horrific, the better. thanks.
