Variable externals, or the equivalent

So, we're pretty comfortable with svn now from a superficial perspective,
and are attempting to work out the entire flow of how things are going to
work for a java webapp. I've done other projects with it using different
approaches, and I suppose I wanted to hear if anyone thought that this
method was barking mad.

So, jsps, .javas, etc. under svn in one repository.

External libs (don't change often, no customization possible) in
aseparate repository, included via and external.
