Re: Timestamp Issues

Another thought on this -- is the current behavior (timestamps updated
on checkout or update) a requirement for some part of the internal
finctioning of Subversion, so that it would require a lot of internal
rework to make that optional? Or is it more a feature that happens to
work one way now but that could easily be made to work (optionally)
another way without disrupting internal structures and behaviors?
