Hi,

thanks for the hint / correction.

I think in CVS you have to be admin to lock a file and I don't know a
reserved chechout command / operation as by ClearCase for instance for
non-admin users.
but I've heard about some scripts for CVS which supports non-admin user's
to lock fiels or directories.
perhaps I'm fully wrong.

Hello,

I think there's a small flaw in the CVS column. I think, locking is
possible
in CVS as I used exclusive checkouts as I remember. Maybe I'm wrong, but I
think this would be called a lock.
