Hello All,
Many thanks to this list for allowing me to lurk for the past few months and gain tons of knowledge in setting up a subversio server.
I recently finished an install (subversion server) on SuSe 9.2 with all the bells and whistles. This was a pretty painless process; again, thanks in part to this list. I have installed the bleeding edge subversion1.1.1 w/ BerkeleyDb4.2.52, Apache2(httpd2.0.52) All testing has been complete and we now have a functioning subversion respository. I hope to share (post) the process and configuration to this list when/if requested/needed.
Here comes the foolish question.
I have several development machines: solaris and microsoft, that need to access the repository and create sandboxes (working copies.) Do I need to repeat the entire process on each machine to get an installed "client"? I think yes and no. Yes - less the apache install. Any confirmation of this would be appreciated.
Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.
-john
