HowTo set properties on existing files best

From: Lukas Ruf <ruf_at_rawip.org>

Dear all,

in my ~/.subversion/config I have defined a set of [auto-props] that
work great as expected. However, I have been using subversion on
large sets of file before. Since I like the auto-props defined, I
would want to make use of them for all files stored in subversion.

I see one way to do this: Create a script that runs through all
directories of the working copy and selects the patterns as defined in
the auto-props section.

Since I see only this way currently, my question: is there another,
more elegant way to set properties on files as defined in
~/.subversion/config ?

Thanks for any hint.

wbr,
Lukas
