Actually, this bodes *very* well for an ACL feature. If the ACL were
implemented in the filesystem itself, mod_dav_svn wouldn't have to do HTTP
GET requests to validate path readablility. If it's slow and unweildy, it's
more likely to be on people's hit-list, and people are more likely to submit
patches.
