Re: Apache2 + Subversion + SSL install on Debian - HOWTO

Hi Holger - I originally tried to install this setup on a older RedHat 9
system which does not have access to the internet. After much
trial-and-error (OK, mostly error), I decided I had better figure it out
on my desktop system where I could google, email, download, etc. Plus,
the compiles were about 3 times faster!

For the record, my desktop (Dell Latitude D800 laptop) is set up with:

Linux 2.6.7-1-386 #1 Thu Jul 8 05:08:04 EDT 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

I assume (hope?) that the steps that worked here won't encounter any
hickups on the other machine.

All for now,
Alan
