error 500

Hi all

I've just installed svn-1.0.9 on windows XP sp1 and with apache 2.0.52.

I followed the instruction provided by tortoise to configure apache with
subversion but no success - it doesn't work.

When I go to the repository directory through the browser I get the
following message error:

"http 500 internal server error"

Can anyone tell what I should do to get subversion working with apache?
