Re: build from scratch gets wedged

It seems that if an older version of Berkeley DB is installed (as I had
on Fedora Core 1) things mess up.

I nuked the DB 4.2 directory, started over with a clean

        ./configure
        make
        make install

and things worked. So that's what I'm going with for now.

Fedora Core 2 has DB 4.2, and there too, the plain recipe worked.
