Funny, everything went allright for me. What Windows version do you use? I'm using WinXP sp1 and Win2k (sp unknown, but probably sp4).

I've seen this behaviour too. It's kind of annoying. However, it's also
Pretty easy to fix. Open a command prompt and CD to "C:\Program Files\Apache
Group\Apache2\bin". Now execute "apache -k install". Now you should be able
to find the Apache in the Services control panel applet.
