Way to checkout a revision of a directory specified by svn:externals?

Is there a way to checkout a revision of a directory and also have it
checkout the same revision of the directory specified in the
svn:externals?

In this case the external directory (Misc\Tst_s) is in the same
repository and should have the revisions.

Here is what happens for me:

C:\temp\example>svn checkout -r257
svn://itplab-svnsvr/eval/ITP/iA32/Regress/Misc
U Misc\Tst\mis_crb.inc
U Misc\Tst\misc_corrupted.inc

Fetching external item into 'Misc\Tst_s'
Checked out external at revision 259.

Checked out revision 257.

C:\temp\example>svn --version
svn, version 1.1.0 (r11180)
   compiled Oct 4 2004, 21:11:18

...

C:\temp\example>
