svnadmin dump 0.24-1 stops in revision 1

Hello everybody,

I'm about to convert my repository from 0.24-1 to 1.1.0.

To do that I'm trying to do a
 svnadmin dump <repos-path> | gzip > dump-file
but that stops without any message after
 * Dumped revision 0.

Parts of revision 1 are written to the file; it ends with
 Node-path: xxx
 Node-kind: dir
 Node-action: add

Currently I'm dumping from revision 2 on.

Is there something I can do to retrieve the missing revision?
What should I do if it stops again? Going from n+1 on and lose this revision?

Regards,

Phil
