Domain in proxy server

My company uses a firewall. To access the repository, I need to connect to my proxy server. However, the proxy server is for multiple domains, and when I try to supply a username and password, the username is not recognized because it's not associated with a domain. I tried putting in domain\username, but it still won't work. I'm getting the 407 authentication error when connecting to proxy server. Has anybody else encounter this issue? Maybe Subversion should add another field for domain in their config?
Thanks,
Redcliff
