I also tried without using the commas and it did not work. The tarfile I've downloaded from www.sleepycat.com contained the NC in its name so I named the directory likewise.

I'm guessing, but loose the inverted commas. They were only in my last email to keep the path together in the paragraph. What's the "NC" bit all about?
